  • Your project will be edited in any style you choose (APA, MLA, or Chicago) and will be returned to you within 24 hours.*

  • I use the track changes function in Microsoft Word so that you can see the changes I’ve made. This allows YOU to decide whether to accept or reject those changes.

  • Not only will your returned project contain correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and word choice, I will ensure that your writing is succinct, clear, and strikes the proper tone.

  • Simply e-mail your paper to Deborah@TEFLNoah.com and I will get working on your piece of writing** right away!

Our pricing is based on your individual order and begins at $0.025 USD per word (500 word minimum / $12.50 USD).

*Return deadline is 24 hours for projects 10 pages or less (3,000 words or less). Additional time is required for larger projects. Please contact me in advance if you have a longer work that needs to be edited.

**I cannot edit anything that has been plagiarized. It must be your own written work. In addition, I cannot add any additional content to your paper beyond minor suggestions for improvement in flow and clarity.

I’m looking forward to using my nearly eleven years of editing experience to help your paper become the very best it can be!

In general, this is what I offer, either as standalone services, or combined with one another:

Support and Clarity Services: This is a “long-term relationship” option. I recommend meeting via Zoom once or twice each week to discuss short-term projects (like academic papers) or one to four times a month for long-term projects (like novels, theses, and other longer documents).

Personalized Workshops: These run according to your specific needs.

“Red Ink” Sessions: A down-and-dirty assessment of a project for people who want more than an editor or proofreader, but don’t necessarily want to commit to multiple sessions or a particular schedule. In a “Red Ink” session, I suggest edits, provide comments, and analyze in-depth a piece of your writing via Google Docs. Particularly useful for more experienced writers, but anyone can benefit.

If you have other ideas or needs, let me know, and we can see what we can work out. The best feeling in the world for me is seeing someone’s writing evolve and the confidence that comes with that evolution.

Shoot me an e-mail here! I can’t wait to work with you!

German philosopher and essayist Walter Benjamin wrote that work on a good piece of writing happens on three levels: a musical one, an architectural one, and a textile one. Navigating these levels can leave even an experienced writer identifying with Dante on his trip through Hell. A writing coach, then, is Virgil: your personal companion who explains, in-depth and candidly, each new level of “Hell” and, ultimately, how to escape.

No matter your project or goal, I can help you evaluate and elevate your writing abilities. As your writing coach, I promise to be your most honest and compassionate critic, your friend and cheerleader, and an enthusiastic consultant during your writing process.

Go on, send me an e-mail—it doesn’t cost anything to see if I’m a good fit for what you need. Tell me what you’re working on and what you want from a writing coach, and from there we can discuss how I can be of service to you.
