Do you want to QUICKLY and EFFECTIVELY improve your English?

Stay with Noah and Cathy in their home!

A One-to-One English homestay. Or even a One-to-Two homestay! Yes, it’s possible for you to meet with TWO native English teachers for the best way to learn English — total immersion in an English-only environment. A homestay in your teacher’s home is the most effective way for you to develop your overall English skills in a short time, while also getting to experience daily life in the U.S.

For just the cost of a hotel and your meals on a regular vacation, you can get the benefits of guided language instruction while also having a true cultural experience with your teacher! You can combine your vacation with an intensive English immersion experience that will be relaxed, but focused on your learning, as well.

Courses and areas of focus that are available:

  • General English (Grammar based, Beginner to Advanced)

  • Conversational English (Pre-Intermediate to Advanced)

  • Business English (Intermediate to Advanced)

  • English for the US Citizenship Test (General instruction for the USCIS test)

**A homestay is only available for students who are 18+ years old unless accompanied by a parent.

**This is a pet-free and smoke-free home.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Contact us to inquire about dates available.

Once a date has been agreed upon, you will receive an email from us. You will have 48 hours to pay for your homestay reservation. 100% of your payment will be required at that time.

25% of the booking fee will be retained by us if the course is cancelled up to 4 weeks before the course start date.

50% of the booking fee will be retained by us if the course is cancelled up to 2 weeks before the course start date.

75% of the booking fee will be retained by us if the course is cancelled up to 1 week before the course start date.

Because international travel into the U.S. takes a lot of planning, it is important that you keep the reservation you have confirmed. If you cancel on short notice, it will be very difficult for another student to make arrangements to take that date.

TEFLNoah, LLC is a registered business with the State of Idaho. As such, all applicable taxes, fees, and insurance requirements are in effect as legally required.

FAQ’s

  • WHAT ABOUT YOUR OTHER STUDENTS? WILL YOU TEACH ONLINE DURING MY HOMESTAY?

    • Don’t worry, we will not be with each other 24 hours a day! You will have a few hours each day to yourself for studying, taking a walk, taking a nap, talking online to your friends and family, etc. Your personal time and privacy will be respected. During that time, your teacher will also take care of some of the things they need to do, which might include an online lesson. However, don’t forget that you will be staying with TWO English teachers, and your time with us will be utilized as much as possible.

  • WHAT ARE THE MEAL OPTIONS?

    • One of the most important things (for both you and us!) is what meals we will have during your stay. Before your arrival, we will provide suggestions for you to decide on, and we will also have a vegetarian option. We do not currently have any vegan options available, though.

  • IF I WANT TO BUY SOME LOCAL WINE, BEER, OR OTHER ALCOHOL, CAN I HAVE IT AT YOUR HOUSE?

    • Yes! You are welcome to have alcohol if you are 21 years old (the legal age for possession or drinking alcohol in Idaho). We are happy to provide recommendations to you, as well.

  • DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING IN YOUR HOUSE?

    • No. Our home is completely smoke-free.

  • DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS I SHOULD WORRY ABOUT?

    • No. Our home is pet-free.

  • IF YOU HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT US.

Other Homestay Programs

If you’re not able to stay with us, there are many other options available. Check out these links to compare our services and prices with other homestay programs that might be more convenient for you to attend. Pay close attention to whether or not you have a private bedroom and bathroom available, airport pick up and drop off, the excursion costs, etc. We do not endorse any of these programs, they are only provided for your information.
